Traffic Studies

The City of Ladue approved a work order with CBB, the cities on-call traffic engineering consultant, and Intergovernmental Agreement for a joint study with Brentwood for McKnight Road between Litzsinger and I-64.  Brentwood City Council has approved the intergovernmental agreement and a kick-off meeting took place in April.  The crosswalk improvements at Sonora Drive were installed in April 2019.  A joint public open house meeting took place on May 15, 2019 from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm.  All of the public feedback will be compiled and analyzed.  The consultant will identify potential solutions for implementation.  Those solutions will be presented to the public at a second public meeting which will be held later this summer.

The City of Ladue is working with CBB, the cities on-call traffic engineering consultant, for a study on Warson Road at Conway Road & Ladue High School and the nearby vicinity.  Concerns in this area include high traffic volumes including Ladue High School traffic, traffic back-ups at the intersection, delays in turning from side streets onto Warson Road, and neighborhood cut-through traffic.  The study began in January 2019 with a kick-off meeting.  CBB has begun to collect data.  The first Public Information Meeting took place on March 12, 2019 and over 20 households were represented.  CBB is currently analyzing the data that has been collected and the ideas and concerns presented by the public.  Next, they will present their findings to the City and Public at a second Public Open House meeting that will occur on July 18, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm.

Parks Planning Grant - Edie's Mulch Site

The City of Ladue has received a planning grant from the Municipal Park Grant Commission to create a master plan vision for the development of a city park at the Edie’s Mulch Site.  To develop a master plan that embodies the vision of the Ladue community we held two public meetings on May 14, 2019 and June 24, 2019. These meetings were an opportunity to learn about the planning process and for the community to discuss the future park with representatives from the city and the planning team from SWT Design, while providing input on goals, opportunities and your vision for this future park.
