1-12-2021 - City of Ladue is a 2021 TRIM Grant Recipient!!
In August of 2020, the City of Ladue was awarded a Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance (TRIM) Grant from the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC). This grant is a cost sharing initiative administered by MDC to assist municipalities with the management, maintenance and improvement of trees on public land and rights-of-way. Starting this January, Gamma Tree Experts will remove 9 trees in poor or dead condition from City rights-of-way and remove 48 additional stumps. They will also prune 114 low/moderate risk trees on City property. We are excited about the award of this grant to assist the City in maintaining a healthy tree population on our City property. Gamma Tree Experts will be doing this tree maintenance starting in January and will complete all work by April 1, 2021. A big thank you to the Missouri Department of Conservation, City Arborist Sean Seed, the Beautification, Open Space and Tree Advisory Committee and all supporting staff that were a part of this effort!

The City of Ladue has received a planning grant from the Municipal Park Grant Commission to create a master plan vision for the development of a city park at the Edie’s Mulch Site. To develop a master plan that embodies the vision of the Ladue community we held two public meetings on May and June, 2019. These meetings were an opportunity to learn about the planning process and for the community to discuss the future park with representatives from the city and the planning team from SWT Design, while providing input on goals, opportunities and your vision for this future park.
In September 2019 the Ladue City Council voted to approve a Master Plan design with plans to implement the main components over the next few years after MSD completes their work within the property.
If you have any questions about this planning process, please contact Anne Lamitola, Director of Public Works at 314-993-5665.

Warson Rd. and Conway Rd. Intersection and Ladue High School vicinity
The City of Ladue is working with CBB, the cities on-call traffic engineering consultant, for a study on Warson Road at Conway Road & Ladue High School and the nearby vicinity. Concerns in this area include high traffic volumes including Ladue High School traffic, traffic back-ups at the intersection, delays in turning from side streets onto Warson Road, and neighborhood cut-through traffic. The study began in January 2019 with a kick-off meeting. CBB has begun to collect data. The first Public Information Meeting took place on March 12, 2019 and over 20 households were represented. CBB is currently analyzing the data that has been collected and the ideas and concerns presented by the public. CBB presented their findings to the City and Public at a second Public Open House meeting on July 18, 2019. To view those documents: Design Presentation, Comment Card, Design Matrix
