FALL LEAF COLLECTION - 2019
The City will provide a leaf pickup during the month of April. All leaves should be set out by 7 A.M. Monday morning of the scheduled week. Collection could take place on any given day of the week, to ensure your leaves are picked up, please have them out no later than the scheduled Monday for your section.

Fall Leaf Pick-up requirements
A scheduled city-wide collection will be made beginning Oct. 21st through Jan. 6th weather permitting. Notification cards will be sent out in September for your Fall 2019 pick-up dates.
Leaves must not contain brush, hedge clippings, sweet gum balls, vines, grass clippings, trash, garbage or metal objects as they cause equipment breakdowns. Leaves must be raked off the road & spread out so that the back edges of the leaves are no farther than 3 feet from the road, and 4’ to 6’ in height.
PLACEMENT OF BRUSH AND LEAVES
Brush and leaves must NOT be placed on a road that accommodates vehicle traffic, piled on top of a hill or embankment or behind or near obstacles: such as hedges, trees, fences, mailboxes, poles and sewers. If your property abuts a public as well as a private road, brush must be placed adjacent to the private road & not more than 3’ from the edge of the roadway adjacent to your residence. (Ordinance #1288.) If your property can only be reached by a private driveway, we will collect your or brush if your driveway can accommodate our equipment (which is 34’ long & 14’ high) & has an adequate turnaround area (either a circular drive or a square pad which is a minimum of 70’ X 70’.) If you wish us to come up your drive way we will need to issue a letter of permission. (Ordinance #1442). The City DOES NOT COLLECT grass, lawn/hedge clippings, sweet gum balls, refuse, trash, old appliances. Please make arrangements for disposal. All brush must be set out for pickup by 7:00 am., Monday morning of the scheduled week.
