The City of Ladue Fire Department is committed to providing the highest level of Advanced Life Support to its residents through fire-based ambulance service. The Fire Department operates Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with one full time ambulance, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week staffed with two Missouri licensed paramedic-firefighters. Each of our two fire trucks are also equipped with advanced life support equipment and paramedics to provide the best possible service to our residents.
Generally, we provide emergency transportation from the place of the emergency to Mercy Hospital-St. Louis, Missouri Baptist, St. Luke’s, St. Mary’s, Barnes St. Louis, Barnes West, St. Louis University, Des Peres, Children’s St. Louis and Cardinal Glennon hospitals. During inclement weather, the list is greatly reduced.
Our ambulance service is licensed by the State of Missouri and we work under the direction and medical control of Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
Obtaining an EMS report
If you are the patient and need a copy of your EMS report, download the following form, print, and fill out. Then contact Captain Gary Kreitler via email at GKreitler@cityofladue-mo.gov. You will need to personally meet with Captain Kreitler, bringing the completed form with penned signature and proof of identity (typically by your driver’s license). Unfortunately due to privacy laws, we must follow the established procedure. If you are not the actual patient, we cannot provide you with a copy of the report unless you are the patient’s legal guardian or Power of Attorney.
If you are working through an attorney, your attorney will explain that process as the above process will not apply.
