Recent Crime

Nov 30, 2017

We have experienced an uptick in vehicle thefts and thefts from vehicles over the past month, along with several surrounding municipalities.  The stolen vehicles were all unlocked with the keys either left inside the vehicle or in close proximity to the vehicle.  All of the vehicles that had items stolen from inside were also left unlocked and in many cases, valuables left in plain view.  We urge the community to "HARDEN THE TARGET" by LOCKING all doors, HIDING anything of value, and TAKING your keys inside with you.  While there is not a way to prevent all crime from occurring, you can make yourself less likely to be a victim by simply locking your vehicle and removing anything of value.  Please notify the Ladue Police Department if you are a victim of any type of crime or observe anything suspicious in your area.
