Brush pickup begins March 1st through September of each year.  Maximum of two (2) loads per month. We will pick up brush up to 10” in diameter & 10’ in length. (No firewood lengths). Hedge trimmings, stumps, roots & dirt balls are not accepted.  Brush should be stacked parallel to the road & the back edge of the pile should be no farther than 3 ft. from the road. NO BAGS ACCEPTED.  Do not put brush piles out more than 10 days in advance of your scheduled pick up date.  Please do not mix loose leaves & brush together as each of these requires a different piece of equipment for collection.  ITEMS MIXED TOGETHER WILL NOT BE PICKED UP UNTIL THEY ARE SEPARATED.

Brush & Leaves must NOT be placed on a road that accommodates vehicle traffic, piled on top of a hill or embankment or behind or near obstacles: such as hedges, trees, fences, mailboxes, poles and sewers. If your property abuts a public as well as a private road, leaves and/or brush must be placed adjacent to the private road & not more than 3’ from the edge of the roadway adjacent to your residence. (Ordinance #1288.)  If your property can only be reached by a private driveway, we will collect your leaves and/or brush if your driveway can accommodate our equipment (which is 34’ long & 14’ high) & has an adequate turnaround area (either a circular drive or a square pad which is a minimum of 70’ X 70’.) If you wish us to come up your driveway we will need to issue a letter of permission. (Ordinance #1442). The City DOES NOT COLLECT grass, lawn/hedge clippings, sweet gum balls, refuse, trash, old appliances. Please make arrangements for disposal. All leaves and brush must be set out for pickup by 7:00 am., Monday morning of the scheduled week.

The City has contracted with Hansen's Environmental Wood Services to haul off all collected composting material. In return, Hansen's is offering Ladue residents a discounted rate on bulk materials. Please see the attached price sheet. As always, Ladue residents are free to obtain mulch and compost materials from any vendor that meets their needs.

Hansen's Price List

Christmas trees should be placed at the curb line for pick up starting Monday, January 15, 2018. Please make sure all ornaments and decor has been removed.
