LOOSE LEAVES
A scheduled city-wide collection will be made beginning Oct. 1 through Dec. 31 weather permitting. Notification cards will be sent out in September for your October, November and December pick-up dates. Click here to look up your specific leaf collection dates. NO BAGGED LEAVES ACCEPTED
Leaves must not contain brush, hedge clippings, sweet gum balls, vines, grass clippings, trash, garbage or metal objects as they cause equipment breakdowns. Leaves must be raked off the road & spread out so that the back edges of the leaves are no farther than 10 feet from the road, and 4' to 6' in height.

SPRING LEAF COLLECTION is in April.
This schedule will run the same as the fall collection. Example: If your fall pickup was the 3rd week of the month, your spring pick-up will also be the 3rd week.

TRASH HAULERS
will accept biodegradable PAPER bags containing: grass, hedge clippings, weeds, flowers, plants, vines, sweet gumballs. Contract your local trash hauler

BRUSH:

NO BRUSH PICKUP FROM OCTOBER 31ST THROUGH FEBRUARY 28TH
We will pick up brush up to 10" in diameter & 10' in length. The larger diameter wood must be a minimum of 6' in length (no firewood lengths). Hedge trimmings, stumps, roots & dirt balls are not accepted. Brush should be stacked parallel to the road & the back edge of the pile should be no farther than 10 ft. from the road. NO BAGS ACCEPTED. Please do not mix loose leaves & brush together as each of these requires a different piece of equipment for collection. ITEMS MIXED TOGETHER WILL NOT BE PICKED UP UNTIL THEY ARE SEPARATED.

CHRISTMAS TREE PICK-UP - during the entire month of January.

PLACEMENT OF LEAVES & BRUSH:
Leaves & brush must NOT be piled on top of a hill or embankment or behind or near obstacles: such as hedges, trees, fences, mailboxes, poles. If your property abuts a public as well as a private road, leaves and/or brush must be placed adjacent to the private road & not more than 10' from the edge of the roadway adjacent to your residence.(Ordinance Number 1288.) If your property can only be reached by a private driveway, we will collect your leaves and/or brush if your driveway can accommodate our equipment (which is 34' long & 14' high) & has an adequate turnaround area (either a circular drive or a square pad which is a minimum of 70' X 70'.) If you wish us to come up your driveway we will need to issue a letter of permission. Ordinance 1442. The City DOES NOT COLLECT grass, lawn/hedge clippings, sweet gum balls, refuse, trash, old appliances. Please make arrangements for disposal.

FREE WOOD CHIPS AND LEAF MULCH:
Wood chips & leaf mulch are free to Ladue residents. Delivery chares are $60 per dump truck & $30 per pick-up truck. The best grade of leaf mulch is available from Jan 1st - Mar 1st. To order - call our office at 314-993-5665.
